Apparel
Entrepreneurship
The
ATRC has worked with many start-up and established
companies to review and evaluate ideas, business
plans and prototypes for commercial viability
of apparel and sewn product items. This includes
looking at product costs in relation to potential
sales, markets, inventory costs and overhead costs
as well as production issues affecting product
costs.
Additionally,
through an ATRC screening process the ATRC can
help place companies in the University’s
entrepreneurial assistance program. This program
was designed to help companies with additional
business tasks such as market assessment, financial
pro formas, complete business plans, etc. This
program requires attendance at on-campus training
sessions.
